Observation Baltimore will be attending the Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group’s Annual Conference this year and we’re very excited.
This year’s PMRG Annual Conference will be held in beautiful Orlando, Florida. We are certainly excited to leave unusually snowy Baltimore and warm up a bit down south. The conference, which will be held at the Gaylord Palms on March 9-11, will focus on the new role of marketing researchers as “Strategic Leaders” in the healthcare marketing paradigm. One thing we’re very interested in learning about this year is how ACA will affect the pharmaceutical landscape for years to come. We do a lot of qualitative market research for pharmaceutical clients, so we always want to be up to date on new trends and insights in the industry.
Also of note will be the keynote speeches from Daniel Pink and Douglas Goldstein. Pink will be discussing the science of persuasion and influencing other people, and Goldstein will cover innovations in using leadership to bring a new dynamic to big data. Both of these should be fascinating presentations.
